Welcome to Black Lives Matter UK.
We are a group of people that got together on the demonstrations that erupted in the UK following the police murder of Alton Sperling and Philando Castile in the US. These demonstrations followed those that took place after the killing of Trayvon Martin and later Mike Brown in Ferguson. Enough is enough. We have to do something to show solidarity with the US struggle against racist policing and to highlight and fight racial injustice in the UK. Come to the meeting at Shacklewell Lane mosque, Dalston, Hackney on Wednesday 20th July. Let’s get organised!
